Side Plate, Peacock In City Palace, etched brass with malachite 9"
Inspired by Mor Chowk, which translates to Peacock Courtyard, situated in the City Palace of Udaipur, Rajasthan, this collection captures the very essence of elegance. Mor Chowk is adorned with five peacock mosaics in glass on its walls, serving as an homage to traditional Indian craftsmanship. In centuries past, this tranquil venue was used for hosting dinner banquets for the Royal family's guests. With such rich visuals and history, the space naturally ignites creativity for local artists and craftsmen. This beautiful artistry shines in this collection of brass flatware, adorned with stone inlay. These feature malachite, renowned as the "Stone of Transformation," for its energy cleansing and healing properties.
