Rug Manchaha "Manmohini"-One Who Wins Hearts-in yellow 4'x6'

The Manchaha collection represents an initiative that converges design and social impact. Empowering rural Indian weavers, the weavers skillfully integrate personal anecdotes and aspects of their own heritage and surroundings into their rugs. These unique rugs are born organically on the loom, crafted by rural weavers using leftover yarn from the industry. Weavers are presented with a palette of over fifty wool and bamboo silk color shades to choose from, granting them unrestricted creative liberty, which creates truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

About Weaver: Meera Devi has been weaving with Jaipur Rugs for the past 13 years. She is a proud mother to four kids, two boys and two girls. Her favorite color is grey.

Carpet story: Meera Devi’s Manchaha reflects her passion to innovate her thoughts into creative patterns. Throughout her Manchaha, Meera has not weaved a single pattern that looks the same, glorifying her uniqueness of thoughts. Seeking inspiration from her leheriya pattern sarees, Meera Devi has weaved long blue leheriya waves on the top. A part of her heart loves to do gardening, and she aspires to build a beautiful bageecha (Garden) of her own someday.  Converting her imagination into creativity, she has weaved small flowers, date trees, and plants in some part of her manchaha, wondering how her mesmerizing garden would win everyone's heart.  She therefore ended up naming her Manchaha “Manmohini” (One who wins hearts).

Care instructions: Do Not Brush Or Scrub The Rug. Only Vacuum Clean It Periodically. Avoid Using Vacuum Beater Brush Mode. If Spills Occur, Blot Immediately. Do Not Rub The Stain. Rotate Occasionally To Equalize Wear. Use Protectors Under The Legs Of Heavy Furniture To Avoid Flattening And Piling. If Thread Comes Out Do Not Pull The Yarn, Trim With Scissor. Periodic Professional Cleaning Recommended
