Large Tinctoria Plate 11.5"

The Nila x Zsuzsanna Nyul ceramics collection was developed as a collaboration with the celebrated Hungarian artist. Zsuzsanna was inspired by the shapes of the indigenous Indian indigo species, Indigofera Tinctoria, to create these handprinted designs. Her final handmade samples were re-interpreted using local clays from various parts of Rajasthan and painted by hand with local artisans. The Essence and Tinctoria collection is designed to be mixed -the two motifs complement each other beautifully on a bare table or with neutral linens.
